Burnout Deception

I must say that Burnout talent is not as good as it portrays.
Yes, when fully specc'd it gives +50% critical strike damage.
BUT, this 50% crit is not additive. Its multiplicative.
What exactly does this mean?
Well this is the base calculation for Crit damage: 1X+.5X (X being normal damage done)
This is the calculation for Crit damage with burnout: 1X+(.5X*1.5)
And after a little distribution you get: 1X+.75X.
And?
This means that burnout only gives +25% crit damage. Data testing done by myself and some other people has proven that this crit chance is not additive.
Well, how does this impact mages.
For Frostfire, this means you are not doing 300% damage crits, but actually 250% damage crits. Ice shards increases crit strike damage by 100%. So to prove it is actually 250% watch:
Since this is the crit damage with burnout: 1X+.75X
Lets add ice shards into the fray: 1x+(.75x*2)
Which leaves you with: 1x+1.5x OR 2.5x
2.5X= 250% of normal damage dealt.
This leads me too my next question? Why isn't it additive...
Sure multiplication allows Ice Shards to "build" off of Burnout, but multiplication also misleads initial ideas about the talent.
This is more a warning to people making their own specs rather than QQ.
For sake of being thorough, here is frost: 1X+(.5x*2) OR 1X+1X (2X).
